Are you looking for a campsite in the Dordogne by the river? The Douzou is crossed by \u201cLe C\u00e9ou\u201d. Its clear and transparent water is the promise of a natural stay in this corner of paradise that is the Perigord.<\/h2>\n

In our campsite in Dordogne<\/a> there is not the sea but the river “Le C\u00e9ou”. This tributary of the Dordogne crosses our small, quiet, family campsite located near Sarlat la Caneda. You can stay and have fun by the water in a pleasant setting on a human scale.<\/p>\n

A river at the heart of our campsite.<\/h3>\n

\"Camping<\/a><\/p>\n

The Dordogne<\/strong> is a preserved place. Its landscapes, <\/strong>culture and history have been spared by urbanization and overcrowding. This department is renowned for its low pollution and the preservation of its natural spaces.<\/p>\n

The same goes for its streams and the river “C\u00e9ou” which crosses our campsite. This tributary of the Dordogne<\/strong>, has its source in the neighboring department of Lot (46).<\/p>\n

The quality and cleanliness of its water are verified by its transparency, helped by the many natural sources that feed it. The C\u00e9ou<\/strong> is an asset for our campsite, it is the identity of the Douzou.<\/p>\n

The river<\/strong> divides our campsite into two parts connected by a bridge.<\/p>\n

The C\u00e9ou<\/strong> is the boundary between the activity and amusement area of \u200b\u200bthe campsite and the accommodation zone. This separation helps to ensure calm<\/strong> for people who do not wish to be disturbed by the noise on their location. Pools, snack bars, playgrounds, sports fields and petanque are located on the other side of the river<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"camping<\/a>You can choose to camp<\/strong> at the edge of the water<\/strong> on one of our eleven large pitches<\/a> with electricity reserved for tents, caravans and motorhomes.<\/p>\n

We also offer the rental of accommodation such as our 2 or 3 bedroom mobile homes<\/a> and our lodge tents<\/a> that can accommodate 5 people.<\/p>\n

The C\u00e9ou also represents an ideal place of fun for your children<\/strong>. It is a calm and shallow river where it is possible to swim<\/strong> and fish<\/strong>. Several direct accesses have been arranged to take advantage of a small bath. Many spaces are available to relax or have a picnic facing the river.<\/p>\n

But the special feature of the Douzou<\/strong> are canoes<\/strong> available for free<\/strong> with all equipment (lifejackets and paddles).<\/p>\n

The sound of water and the song of birds are also conducive to relaxation and rest. For this, we have created a space with several high quality deckchairs on a grassy space in the immediate vicinity of the “C\u00e9ou”. Take a nap to rest in the shade of a palm tree to the sound of flowing water.<\/p>\n

You can enjoy walking or cycling along the river on the greenway and the paths that start from the campsite.<\/p>\n

The most beautiful villages in France, medieval castle, caves … These are the most famous tourist sites in Perigord<\/strong> that you will discover, many of which are located 10 kilometers from the campsite.<\/p>\n

Lascaux<\/strong> cave, Padirac<\/strong> chasm, Bastide de Domme<\/strong>, Sarlat<\/strong> capital of P\u00e9rigord Noir, the city of Rocamadour<\/strong>, the village of Eyzies<\/strong>, Beynac<\/strong> or Hautefort<\/strong> castle\u2026 You will be spoiled for choice when making your selection as the tourist offer is important.<\/p>\n
